Make your bars last 90+ washes.
Your shampoo and conditioner bars will last 75-90 washes.
(Or 3x longer than bottled shampoo)
But if you look after them right, they can last even longer!
Simply follow these 2 steps.
Step 1: Keep bars dry in-between washes.
Our bars are like plants, with the right amount of water they flourish, but with too much they drown.
Find somewhere dry to store your bars to prevent them from becoming all soggy.
Here Are Some Storage Options:
a) Find something around your house
Some people store their bars on a flannel. Other people use containers, trays and lids.
The important thing to remember is that whatever you choose, it has to be able to drain.
As in, no slimy swamp water pooling at the bottom.
An easy DIY is to wrap either string or elastic bands around your container of choice.
b) Bamboo trays
If you can't find anything around your house, you can always grab one of our Snuggle Trays or Bamboo Trays.
c) Soap bags
These are particularly good for when your bars become smaller.
If you don't have one at home, we sell a Plant Based Lather Bag on our store.
Step 2: Make the most of your lil' bits.
There'll come a time after many many washes...
When your bars might start breaking into little pieces.
This isn't your cue to throw them out.
Simply place your crumbled bits into any mesh bag and they'll be good to go.
You'll be amazed at how many more washes you'll get out of them.
And that's it.
These two simple tips will make your bars last 90 washes and beyond.
P.S. If they reach past the 18 month mark let us know - this is the current record.
